2003 keyless elect door locks

I bought a tonneau cover about 2 weeks ago from A.R.E.with the electric lock option. The dealer is having trouble getting it to work.
Their tech guy said they heard the S-10 used a 4 - 5 volt electric door lock system. Anyone know if this is true?

Not true. it is a 5 wire reverse polarity system. still 12 volt. most good alarms come with wiring examples for GM 5 wire systems. it can be a little tricky.
