oil pressure flux

'01 Silverado 1500 4.8 V6 at idle oil pressure fluctuates arounf 40-45 and idle seems rough. Would adjusting idle correct this?

Re: oil pressure flux

Since no one has replied maybe I should clarify. The OP gauge "flutters" when at idle i.e. a stop light arounf 40 - 50 along with a rough idle. Is this normal?

No its not check to see if you have enough oil in the truck if there iss then check for a leak somewhere if no leak then correct the idle and it should be fine. If the idle is jumping then yes it would cause it to flutter
