Arrow sluggish to take off, stalls on take off, hard to start

i have a 1984 2M4 and when i got the car it ran great, it sat outside all winter (the beauty of canada) and now since the warm weathers out i wanna ride in it but its givin me a heck of a hard time. the car has a rough time starting it just cranks and cranks and when it does catch it idles high and varries from 1500 rpm to 1000 rpm. when i go to put the car into gear (its auto) it bogs down and stalls or lurches like i am riding a bull. i have already replaced the plugs and wires, and i am putting on a new coil tomorrow (had one kicken around) but if anyone has any suggestions on things to check or change please help me out. summer is almost here and i wanna get my ride on the road.

Could be things are just stuck from sitting, too. Get out and get on it for a good half hour, things will usually snap back when they get good and warmed up.

74-79 Ramcharger or 100, slant or no motor - not interested in v8 - Overdrive 4 is a big plus, NO hopeless rust buckets!!!
3Rd gen F body floor pans/camaro door skin (L)

Why is it I see so many "Proud to be an American" bumper stickers on the backs of cars made in Japan or Korea??????
