MK3 HKS Down Pipe and Cat back for sale
HKS Sport Cat-Back Exhaust - 60mm Dual Round Tip - 60mm Pipe Size - Aluminized Muffler with Aluminized Piping. Down Pipes - 75mm (3 inch) - For Stock and Sport Turbo - Eliminates Pre-Catalytic Converter - from 7/86 This system is brand new Never been installed but it does have a few scratches you can see them in the pictures. When I started Building my car I was going for a mild street car, but I over built the engine know it more like street legal drag car, pushing around 1000-1200bhp. This kit will easily support up to 500hp. I paid $850 for this kit and would take less for it. Reply or E-mail me [email protected] |

I really hate to ruin your For Sale shin-dig and rain on your parade, but the HKS DP is a POS and only 3" on the catalitic converter end, it's not a whole lot better than the stock setup. Your seriously pushing it saying the 60mm sport catback can support 500hp (a modded CT26 or anything bolt on will hardly support 500hp and it won't last long doing it), even if it did you'd have 600 just by putting on a 3.5" though. Also I don't know what majic juice you built that engine with but 1000-1200hp? Can't wait to see the dyno sheets to back that up.

Re: MK3 HKS Down Pipe and Cat back for sale
If you would like to see the dyno sheets it will take a few more weeks to complete.
If you would like to know my magic, let me take you school. first brake into your piggy bank and round up about 20K just in engine work. try to buy everything titanium. if that doen't have you broke. take the engine to the best machine shop on the eastcoast "but remember they don't know everything either" so think really hard about what makes fast? then have them lighten, grind, port, polish everything, and after that have them bolt on everything to your crank and ballance it all together on a state of the art mechining tool. Ya I know your far in debt by now but don't worry you can race me and win some of your money back. If you think you can, so bring your wheel barrow and ruin my race shin-dig and rain on my parade. As for the down pipe, I copy and pasted the info directly from the HKS site. |

I honestly hope your not serious about any of that, because we all know titanium parts, port and polish, and machine work will make a 7m do 1200hp
You sure took me to school with that mod list to back up that number, I'm counting the days till "a few more weeks" is over. Please sell your Supra to someone who knows what there doing and buy a honda now.

Re: MK3 HKS Down Pipe and Cat back for sale
So you can tell how much I know by looking at my Supra in my avatar, not by searching my previous posts? You must have some awesome form of telepathy to be able to see under the hood of that picture. I'm not playing any games, I'm preventing a new MKIII owner from buying a POS that will not perform to his expectations and for his money. There are atleast 12 downpipes out there now that can be had for $200-$300 brand new, 3" ID all the way through and they eliminate the elbow. About the "master" commment, you may have been building cars for a long time, but you have not been building Supra's for a long time, I have. I can tell you now that weak mod list you posted won't get you 70hp, alittle more depending on what real mods you have to back them up. Lighter valves and good balancing? That will only allow you to rev alittle higher without the valve train being a problem, but you won't get anywhere since piston speed will then limit you. Go ahead and dyno it though, I'd love to see it make 400hp when you expect 1200.

Re: MK3 HKS Down Pipe and Cat back for sale
look man your going to have to come see this car because you are going to have tell me your sorry for hating on my skills. What I wrote was not a build sheet or a list of mods, it was just a few
of the many things I've done to the motor. Like I said I over 20k in this car. You are right about me not biulding supra's for a long time. But I have business partners in Asheville NC who have built some of the badest supras in the country, they said they have never seen anyone build a MK3 to this extreme, I'm going for the top HP record. I know this is not the best kit, this is why I'm selling it for less then I payed for it. It is brand new all I have done is take out of it's plastic wraping. There is no dout that buying something brand new for less is better. What is the best down pipe in the world? I have a friend that will do the rest of the system. If you would like my build sheet E-mail me, I'd like to be the first to hit this type of hp out of a 7MGTE |

Re: MK3 HKS Down Pipe and Cat back for sale
Good luck in that case and more power to you, if you pull it off I'll apologize about saying you can't. I just do see you making it when so many others have failed, and if by some chance you do it won't run long. The top HP in the US last I checked is 740 (I hear a guy in AUS is pushing 800+), unless Neely has surpassed that one, and these guys have been building these cars for years and years with countless hours of experiance. Anyway I've thrown in my two cents so good luck with 1200hp, hope you have a monster turbo and lots of spray lined up.
