Insurance
Dose anyone think that insurance will kill me,(im 18) on a Muscle Car? Year between a 1968-72. Im sick of all these modern cars. Ive always wanted a Muscle car like my dad and his firends. I have the knowledge and help to work on one. Im thinking that insurance might kill me though.
-Thanks for any feedback or information!! |

Re: Insurance
umm, i dont think it would be as much as a new car. but it also depends on the actual car. you can probably call around and get estimets. then you would know.

It mostly depends on three factors: Your age, your driving record and the type of insurance you want. Depending on the car, there may be a surcharge for a powerful auto. Your age you can do nothing about. Your driving record will move the cost up if it is bad. If you get liability only insurance you can keep the cost down. Call an insurance broker to get a rate. They will estimate it in five minutes.
My '79 Trans Am costs about $300/yr. That is for liability and comprehensive (glass). I am WAY over 25, and no tickets for at least 25 years (pure luck, keep my eyes open and radar detectors). |
