HI Everyone I was wondering if anyone knows how the trans is setup for a awd skyline. what i mean is, is there a tranfer case at the back of the trans or if the front axles come out of the side of the trans. If anyone could help me out i would be very thankful. Or if you could give me any sites that i could find any info about them i would greatly appreciate your help.
Thanks hotmalevb |

There is a transfer case just after the trans.

The transfercase is integral to the transmission on the 4wd system. You can't simply remove it and use the GTR box as a 2wd unit. The setup is simular to any standard 4wd trans on a truck but is still different in the bigger sceme of it.
The front axles do not pass through or are attached to the transmission. If you want strength simular or close to the GTR box in a 2wd setup the R33 GTS25t manual box is close.
