i dont know why you would want to do that, the VR-4 engine, the 6g72 is a larger engine to start with being a 3 liter and I believe the skyline R34 is a 2.6 liter....they are both incredibly tough engines and take incredible amounts of boost stock due to their "bullet proof" blocks. They are both awesome engines and that skyline engine will not make your VR-4 any faster, its weight that is holding our cars back compared to the skyline. But, I would go with a 3.5 liter montero block in my VR-4 if I ever blow my stock 3.0 liter. Bigger bore, same beefy ass v6 type block, can fit easily transversly mounted, and the VR-4 tranny lines up I believe. 3.5 has lots of power N/A, and is capable of holding and taking just as much boost as the 6g72.

you know the Mitsubishi GTOs in Japan are faster then the Skylines, so why would you want to drop a slower engine in the car? The only thing thats restricting our engines are turbos and fuel, the GTOs in japan came stock with 13g turbos vs. our 9bs, and still ran 12.7 on stock boost levels
