Re: want my car to be louder

yeah. if you wanna be louder, that's your thing man. just gut the cat, or put in a testpipe and put a straight pipe with the just an N1 muffler. that'll be LOUD. it'll really sound like crap IMO, but if you want loud, that's how you do it. i'd strongly suggest against this but like i said, to each his own. if the cops in your area are like they are wherever i've lived, you'll become the biggest target in town. not only that, your neighbors won't appreciate it. i had a similar setup in college and my car became the target of unhappy campers. just a fair warning.

cherry bombs are those red fire extinguisher-like exhaust jeeps and trucks have that you can see.

Re: want my car to be louder

get a cold air intake, it'll add some more sound cause more air will exit exhaust.

Re: want my car to be louder

supertrapp exhaust. it's tunable, and when i tune mine all the way out, my ears ring really bad from it. it has no core in the "muffler", and when tuned all the way out, actually flows faster and louder than a straight pipe.

going into too much detail, simplest way is just take off your muffler. I know its illegal but from what it sounds like i dont think you care.

Re: want my car to be louder

Get a K&N intake, with a BOV and some headers that all you need to make it louder

You are 100% correct.

SRV boy is telling him to get a BOV AND HEADER (never supposed to be together unless you have a supercharger..which isn't even really an option for a 4th gen)

leejam's car isn't even turbo..i don't unerstand what srv boy's tryin to say.
