common problems with I35s

Hello everyone,

I just bought me a 2004 Infinity I35, and I'm curious to see what your input is on this car? I bought this car because I'm looking for a nice car, midrange price wise and most import of all reliability. Please give me your thoughts, and what breaks the most with this car etc.. Thanks in advance

As of today I would have said there are little, if any, problem areas with the I35. However, my "service engine" came on today with just 20,200 miles on the car. No idea why. I checked the most common cause, a loose or missing gas cap, but that was not the problem. I did get a recall notice for a sensor on the engine crankshaft. I'm taking it in on Thursday for the warranty repair. That's it so far.
My sister-in-law had a 2000 I30 that needed a motor mount replaced under warranty.
Good luck with your new car!
