Thumbs down 97 Grand caravan Power doors problem

Dear All!

I have a 97 Grand caravan and after sometime, the horn started to blow continuously then stop. After a week or so, the power door locks stop functioning and also the horn. I Can hear the click on the relay but with no powerdoors. Later, the stop lights are not functioning and the wippers go on and off by itself. Ok, got a scanner and no error was found.

Can somebody help?

Re: 97 Grand caravan Power doors problem

I've heard what's called the Body Computer is a fairly common culprit when you have multiple electrical problems. It controls most of the vans electrical accessory systems. The wipers are probably caused by the switch on the left column staulk. My wipers were doing the same thing. They changed the switch staulk and cured it for a year. Then it started again. During the summer when it never rains - I live in a desert - I just remove the wiper fuse.
