Insurance wise for the GSX/Tsi AWD?

Hey DSMers, im goin to buy a DSM after saving up some $$$$$. Would insurance be lower for me if my first car was my dad's 92 Accord, with my name on it? and then got a GSX/Tsi AWD? so would the insurance be lower if i first put my name onto my dad's car and then buy the DSM, so the Insurance wouldnt be so high? Oh yeah, how much are your guy's DSMs?

It doesn't matter what car you have first. Cheapest way is to have your dad as primary driver/owner of the DSM, and you're secondary.

My friend drives a GS-T, under his name he's paying 6g a year... under his dad's name it's like 3000, he's 23. So it's pretty high. I drive a RS, I only pay like 1600 a year under my mom's name.
