Question Rubbing sound when I turn the steering wheel

I love my 96 A-4 but it's a real money pit lately. Now, when I turn the wheeel I hear a rubbing sound, non metalic, coming from the front. I checked the PS fluid and it's fine as far as the level. Any advise would be appreciated. I have 85,000 miles and it runs well.

You may want to check the lower front control Arm has mine went recently and first I thought it was my power steering then my strut only to find out it was the front control arm.

def check the front control arms, they seem to be the cause of many noises and problems in the past A4s
