Putting the new clutch through its paces.

Last weekend I had my old oem clutch replaced with a centerforce dual friction. Since I have to wait 500 miles I haven't really jumped on it too much. However even shifting below my usual is giving me a prelude to how well its going to do. Its such a tease having to baby it around everyday at. The old clutch was obliterated not that i'd know why but the car still did pretty good. I beat my friend's 92' prelude si two weeks ago with my old clutch by about half a car length, but I'm predicting a pretty one-sided victory with my new clutch. There are also a few people I'd like to challenge again. I'll be posting some kills (hopefully) soon enough. Another one of my friends has a newer se-r that I plan on running.

I have found myself making mindless journeys down the freeway.

Great way to 'break in' your new clutch!! Especially if there's stop and go involved.

I've also found that doing that is good for the motor...running it around 90-100km/hour for extended amounts of time (an hour or two here and there) cleans out all the crap that builds up. At least in these old carburators!

My car always has a little more energy the day after i've take her for a run like that!
