it would be SOOO much easier and cheaper to just swap in a 2.2l turbo engine out of an MX6 GT. stock mounts and harnesses

Why don't you... swap motors, and then add a supercharger.... That would prove how mutch of a blockhead [excuse the pun] you really are also you could retard your timing a little bit.
