Diablo SV vs 2004 Z06

Well i went to the Scca races in the Diablo today, unfortunately i got there too late to race. The guy who i raced the Ferrari against in the Z06 was there. Very cool guy.

We decided to race the Diablo against the Z06, as he wanted to see what would happen. After telling him the Diablo was much different than the 355, i told him to honk 3 times and we'd go on the 3rd honk, thereby even giving him the jump.

We went from a first gear roll, i was about 2500 rpm, 3rd honk and immediately the Diablo surges forward, continuing to add buslenghts throughout each gear. By the time i let off at 140mph, he was atleast 15 cars behind.

I found this funny because not too long ago the Z06 guys were discussing how close they would be with a Diablo 6.0 saying it was basicly up to driver. LOL

Anyways, ill have video, because the people behind us videoed it!!!

I have had the utter most pleasure in personally seeing a Gallardo on sydney street on the weekend (May 15-16) two days in a row! I almost creamed my pants.

No nos, and yes my car is quicker than a 6.0.

Stock for stock an SV is quicker than a 6.0 .
6.0 has an advantage off the line with all-wheel drive, but SV is substantially lighter. 6.0 is rated at 550hp, SV at 530, but the ram air is never factored in, which makes a big difference the faster you are going.

what if you have the ram air on the 6.0 like al burtoni? and i thought the 98 had 510 hp not 530

96-97 Euro cars had 510hp, Lambocars stats are wrong. U.S. 98+99 cars have 530hp.

Never raced a Burtoni modded 6.0 so i cant tell you. His stuff sucks, so id put the money on myself.

Thats tru . The U.S. '98 SV's did have 530 hp. Lambocars does have a few mix-ups like the 6.0 doing 0-60 in 3.9 sec wtf????? As l said before. SV owns

why does it suck, without a s/c or t/c he make 632 hp on his 6.0?
