I just changed the Drive belt in my 99 Sunfire. it has the 2.2 with Air , I have the belt on all except one thing. I cant get to the bolt to adjust the tension of the drive belt . There is not enough room or hardly any room to get a wrench in there can anyone help ?

Re: Can any one help with a Drive Belt Problem
you can buy a serp belt tool at any auto parts store for around $15-$20 bucks. They come with different adaptors and fit in the tight space they give you.

Long bar
I agree with the first response. I also had the similar problem on my 99 Sunfire...NO room at all to attach the belt tool's socket. So, I used the long bar from the serpentine belt tool (...borrowed from Autozone at no cost!!) and I simply pushed down on the belt tensioner to release the tension. It is a little tricky, but achievable. Once I figured out what I needed to do, it was a 10 minute job.
