Car Alarm

Ive got a Prime Alarm system on my 95 integra, one day i went to shut it off, and it wasnt normal. Normally when i go to my car i hit the pad "1" and it unlocks and Beeps pretty loud. I went to my car one night and it had like a distant beep, its really soft you can hardly tell its there. What causes this?

Check the connections for the siren. Or maybe its the siren. Do you have the manual or can you find one. See if there is a soft chirp mode

my guess is that it could be a bad ground for ur siren. that is if when u set the alarm off the sound is equaly distant. just a thought

i do not have the manual for the alarm, i guess ill just go under and find where the alarm is itself, the sound all around is the same, very soft, ill check the ground and tell you guys how it goes, thanks for the tips
