Help Me Fix My Crx!!!

I was driving one day going easy (~2500 rpm) and my crx just died. I can't get it to start again.

When I hook the battery up to my van and turn the key (in the rex), it turns over but it won't catch. The fuel pump doesn't turn on when I click the key over.

The chiltons said to check to see if voltage is going to the fuel pump, and if there is voltage, get a new fuel pump. Otherwise, get a new main relay.

I hooked up a voltmeter and I'm getting voltage, so I bought and installed another fuel pump used off eBay. But it still won't start. Do you think there is a chance that I got hosed on the ebay fuel pump, and now I have 2 bogus pumps?

Is there another way to test the fuel pump?

Oh I checked the main relay just to be sure and its fine.

Is it possible I didn't hook the fuel pump up right before putting it in the tank?

Re: Help Me Fix My Crx!!!

I wouldn't have done that right away. First off, determine if you are getting spark and fuel. When you crank it does it turnover? If so, do you smell gas a little at all? If you smell gas your fuel system is fine. Most common problems to sudden dieing is the distributor. If can, buy a new distributor off ebay for your engine. Also, replace the spark plugs and wires. Then let us know if it fired up or not. BTW, have you replaced the dizzy ever?

Oops forgot to say that it sparks
The problem is definitely fuel delivery
It fired up a little with my brother spraying quick start in the intake manifold while I was turning the key
