91 honda civic dx
I would like some opinions on this. I found a 91 honda civic dx 4-door with blown head hasket. The price is $400. The gas gauge and temp. gauge, are both broken off. is this a good deal or is it not worth it. Too much to fix this car??? Please help!!

Re: 91 honda civic dx
Depends? Are you somewhat of a good mechanic. Can you fix things. The head gasket and the gauge cluster are like 100 bucks in parts if you can do it yourself, or otherwise like 800+ at a dealer.
Whats the body condition. |

Re: 91 honda civic dx
New headgasket set is $120. I just baught an 88 Civic 2dr hatch 5spd with a little body damage (in process of fixing it, only piece needing replacement is front driver fender, $38 junk yard). It runs great and I paid $650 for it. Heh its also somewhat of a famus car, it was seen on the TV show cops.
