91 GPSE 3.4 died, will not start

While leaving parking lot from shopping, started car and made it about 6 feet and it died. Starter turns over and all systems are able to run except that some circuit has shut down the injectors from firing.
Timing belt is OK
Battery and all fuses are OK
Fuel pressure is OK
Fuel Pump relay is OK
ECM fuse is OK and green line with white stripe shows voltage when key is on and while cranking.
It was suggested that the CPS may be bad by an auto store, but logic says if plugs are firing properly that is not the problem, and they do fire OK.
Sprayed small amount of fuel into intake and it fires the fuel.
Best indication is that something has switched to tell the injectors not to fire.
Any suggestions?
I hate to throw parts at it trying to get it to run, but was told that the ignition module is probably the cause, would like to confirm this or look for something else to try.
thanks

Shouldn't be the ignition module since it'll fire when shoot fuel down the intake. Have you checked the computer for codes? The link below tells how to get the codes, if you don't know already. The article says you can use a paperclip to jump the terminals on the diagnostic connector, however, Autozone gives away free GM code keys that might be a little easier to use. I wonder if the problem might actually be with the ECM or just a bad wire connections somewhere.
