New Hypertech! need 180 stat?

I just installed Hypertech on my 02 5.3. The installation manual suggested the 180 degree Powerstat for my engine. I programmed it for 87 octane, fimer shifts,and raised the speed limiter. It runs stronger and shifts firmer. It was worth it. I will install the K&N intake soon. What will I benefit from the Powerstat??? Thanks, Cliff

Yea, the info with the programmer suggest using one and of course they offer one called a Powerstat. thanks,Cliff

what degree therm. do you have in your truck now??

whatever is stock

hmm, i think stock is around 200, so the powerstat will lower your running temp thus a little more power
