I just picked up a 86 CRX in severe need of repair. I bought a 1500 engine from a local savage yard and I am now in the prcess of rebuilding it. With that said, here's my question:
I need to know what year engines have swappable parts. The engine I purchased is a 87 1500 and I need an exhaust manifold or a good cheap header. Can someone enlighten me? Thanks |

Re: 86 CRX Header
84-87 Civic/CRX, 86-89 Integra
there are a few companies that make a header but i think most of them only fit the Si because the oil pan is shorter, if you can get a header for the 86-89 Integra (D16A1) it will bolt on as well.

Re: 86 CRX Header
If you are looking for a "cheap" header check with Pacesetter. If you are looking for a "good" header check with DC Sports. You can also find decent headers on Ebay from time to time.
