95 Taurus GL Wagon A/C Problem

95 Taurus GL wagon, blows hot air and the compresser is not coming on.

Worked fine a week ago.
Could it be a fuse? If so where would the fuse be located?

For health reasons I can't do a lot, but little things I can...

Thanks

Robert

If the fuses are good then it would most likely be a low pressure problem. The system will not allow the compressor to frag itself if it thinks there is not enough refrigerant.

Thanks Mikeemon,

Last night my son said it was blowing cold air for a while then started blowing hot. Outside temp. in the 60's.

This morning outside temp 66, and the compresser came on and blowing cold, compared to last Sat. when it wouldn't come on and the outside temp. was 80.

I guess I'll take it and have the refidgerant checked out Saturday.

Thanks again...

Robert

It sounds like it needs to be recharged.
