Z3 fender help..ideas?

i have a 97 civic and i want z3 fenders....i can get the whole fenders for 160 or the inserts for just 35....i'm thinking of getting the inserts...but they're plastic, so that means i can't just weld them in. I have basic knowledge of autobody, but how would i attatch them after i cut the hole? and would it be VERY difficult to make them blend in...like perfectly......(well duh it'll be hard...but possible?? for me??)

any tips for attatching them? bending a little metal inward maybe? something to adhere it too?..not sure...i just need some tips...or maybe i should go with the whole fenders.

Dont get the inserts man. Get the real thing. You wont be happy with the inserts. Depending on the kind you have they should be 3M taped on. To me they are like the fake hood scoops you tape on.

You don't sound comfortable doing it it sounds like, so don't. It would be more efficient to buy the real ones. Fiberglassing in the inserts wouldn't be worth the time in my opinion.

dont even get the metal ones !!! if you dont have experiance then your gonna screw this up, especialy when it comes to cutting the needed area on your existing fenders...1st off al Z3 fenders are played out and look stupid..but if you really want them..just buy the new fenders !!!! cause it will be easier for you since you dont know what your doing..and go with a bood name say like areogear just to ensure a good fit around your hood and A pillar
