SER Spec-v VS. Prelude

I have a 4th gen. H22 prelude with intake, exhaust, aem pulley kit, and header. My lude has 137,000 miles on it. I also have a black widow body kit, carbon fiber hood, 18" rims and a carbon fib. wing. I recently owned an automatic sunfire, so i was learning how to drive stick in my prelude.

My friend owns a brand new ser spec-v with a nismo cold air intake (basically stock). He's a pretty good driver.

one night me and my friend decided to race. I didn't want to race him in my lude because, like i said, i recently owned an automatic and was just learning how to drive stick. So i got my friend to race him instead because i thought he was a pretty good driver.

We raced off the line and he beats my lude by a car and a half!!! I was pissed!! We raced again on a 40 mile per hour roll and he beats me again by a car and a half!!!

I coudn't believe it!! My lude runs like new! My car should have smoked that ser!!! I guess my friend couldn't drive for shit!!! WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK!?

Re: SER Spec-v VS. Prelude

Dude.....Sen. spec-v R PRETTY FAST...but Prelude's r TOO.....it's pretty much a drivers RACE.......the guy with the Sen. must know how to hit the GEARS!!! and well that plays a HUGE ROLE....if i'm u I take off at 3....and redline it when u change gears and also leave the GAS IN WHILE RACING and put in the clutch and gear at the same time but very fast and u'll notice a big DIFF...and u should...wipe off a good car...with that...also...ur ridding big wheels...18's r too big...also one more thing make sure 1st to 2nd is fast lot's of people with vtec lude's like to redline 1st costing them to losing ur rpm in 2nd (falling to 3 or LOWER!! almost GRA. LOOSE) good luck....don't be ashamed tho Sen's...R PRETTY FAST STOCK!!
