Which Thermostat?

I have a GTP and I am going to order a new thermostat from zzperformance. It says to get the 160 deg for the supercharged engine but alot of people have been putting in the 180.If anyone has one,Is there that big of difference, and what kind of changes can I expect.
Any help will be great,Thanks

Alot of people don't like to drastically change the operating temperature of the engine for several different reasons. One being a loss of gas mileage the lower you go. Another being longer warm up times in the winter. There is also some discussion of engine sludge buildup if your run it too cold. There has been alot of debate on that subject though.
I have a drilled 180 in my gtp and it has worked out very well for me. Slight loss of gas mileage but excellent cooling in concert with my dhp pcm. Winter warm ups do take longer than stock but it is a small price to pay in my book for helping to prevent knock.
