98- brakes to a 94
will the calipers and discs fit if i put the 98- backing plate. and what about the back? mine has drums in the back, would it be difficult to change them to discs?

Re: 98- brakes to a 94
You would need to change the proportioning valve to go from rear drums to discs. Besides that the disc brakes should just bolt right up.

Re: 98- brakes to a 94
the most efficient way to do the disk conversion on the back is to go get a rear axle assembly from a disk car. itll bolt right up and if you get one fully assembled all you have to do is hook up the lines. and i dont know if this makes a difference but the factory does not sell two different proportioning valves for drums and disks. i just assumed that cause i could never find one specifically for the disks or drums that the same was used for both, dont know exactly though...
