today was an interesting day...

So it's 1am and i just got off work... I'm driving home and next thing you know the cars not working right... i look over at the AFC and see my RPM at 0... I'm like WTF ???? so I coast to a stop... my engine light on and my battery light on... first thing i think it's the alternator... again.
check the belt... nope... look at the distributor... looks fine.

I reset the ECU and crank it over... the car does not sound right and I can figure out why... I play around with a few other thing and still cank get it to start.

I stit in the car for a few minutes and a few buddys from work drives by and stops. they get out and are wondering what up... I tell em the car died and I'm not sure what it is. he askes me to crank it and I do... and he says "timing belt" Im like you got to be kidding me... get out and i grab the timing belt that is displayed... sure ehough the belt broke.

after a short swearfest, I call a buddy tha lives closeby and ask him if it's cool if I can park the car in his yard for the night, he's like yeah it's cool... need help pushing it ? i'm like yeah!

I call the girlfriend so she can come pick me up.

so were 3 pushing my car about 700m up a slight incline let me tell you my car is not that light... when we are almost to the house an other friend stops to help push... awesome... we get it to the yard I lock it... thank the guys and jump in the girls Protege and head home.

on the trip back home I start feeling real bad... like I need to puke... I make it home.. i get inside barely make it to the bathroom and Puke... i sit there feeling like crap for a bout 20 mins before brushing my teeth and going to bed. (like 2:30am)

I'm up at 8:00 I grab my spare timing belt out of the garage, head to a mechanic I know... hes not there... go to an other one, he's there and willing to help me fix the car... awesome.

I call the tow truck, stop at the bank, and go meet the tow truck. help put the car on the flatbed... tell the driver where to go... I hop back in the van and head off to the mechanics place to get droped off.

one hour after the car is droped off the new belt is in. about to check compression... the moment of truth. ... ALL 4 CYLINDERS GOOD !!!

I majorly lucked out. by 11am the car was back together and running.
