Del sol Turbo
I am building my own turbo kit with a t3/t4 turbo i'm going to stay with the stock b16a3 eingine for right now and run just 8psi till i can rebuild the engine. But i was wondering what injectors and fuel pump to use? Also is there a good ECU chip to use or is it better to use the Greddy e-mamage piggy back system?

Re: Del sol Turbo
the emanage system is a good starter system for running mild boost..which is what you said you would be doing anyways..however dont get the greddy blue-box from the older systems...anyways I would look online ie: ebay and find some used injectors off a greddy t3/t4 kit that someone is selling due to an upgrade..its usually pretty common..they utilize DSM injectors and you can find them pretty cheap if ya look around..i would look there for some other used componants as well since your building this custom.

Re: Del sol Turbo
the older system is just the greddy kits from a few years back up until recently when they went with the Emanage system..it was called a " blue box " and there just not worth a shit thats all, I also think thier unreliable. As far as the Injectors..well with 8psi your not going to need to dump massive ammounts of fuel...but you migth want to upgrade compnants of your system later being that it is a custom kit..if it was me..id get a set of 450cc maybe 475 but nothing more..this will supply moer than enough fuel to support this system..plus higher boost ammounts at a later date. At the 8psi you are considering running I wouldnt get into timing issues, especialy if your not familiar with it..an 8psi kit is designed to pretty much be a bolt and go application, altho a controller and a timer would be a very good addition in my opinion...as far as a cap, rotor and wires....maybe look into getting some colder plugs..even some denso uridium plus, with a set of nology, crower or magnacore wires..something with a very good resistance, with a OE or Msd cap and rotor...keep in mind these parts are optional they are NOT nessasary...but the new and higher tune would give a better response

Re: Del sol Turbo
ok so if i run just the 8psi i dn't really have to get new injectors and i don't have to tretard the time? Do i still need to get the e-manage system? My stock coil with some cold plugs should do the trick right? is there anything that i' forgetting that i need to do when i install the kit?
