My blue 350Z Roadster

This is a 1/18 Muscle Machine 350Z Roadster kit that I finished building this one today.

I was a very simple kit to build, took me less than an hour to complete.

I agree with Steve. The first pic looks a lot like a real car. Excellent job!

Re: Re: My blue 350Z Roadster

Well, in some turbo setups a smaller turbo is used for a quick start then a larger turbo kicks in for greater hp. I think thats right... But i'm not sure that setup applies to this situation.

Re: My blue 350Z Roadster

I'm going to expand on what Garret said.

Smaller turbos have a smaller spool and they take less time to spool up. The larger turbos take longer to spool up thus not gaining much power quickly. So sometimes twin turbo cars (MKIV Supra) have one smaller turbo and one larger turbo. This creates a quicker charge because the smaller turbo spools up faster. Then when the larger turbo is finally spooled up the smaller turbo is at its peak. It creates a smooth transistion, with power no less.

BTW: That's just a twin turbo set up on the 350Z.

I got that model too. I am pretty happy with the paintjob and everything else... except it is extremely out of scale. Definitely not a 1/18... more like a 1/16! so i couldnt put it next to my other tuners!

Two turbos stacked in a row on the left, two turbos stacked in a row on the right. They're black.
