problem replacing shocks
Today I was changing the shocks on my 2001 Ford E-150 for the first time. At the bottom of the shock there is a bolt coming out of the lower control arm that holds the bottom of the shock in place. when I was removing the nut I snapped that bolt by accident. It APPEARS that the bolt is WELDED into the lower control arm and cannot be replaced. Does this mean that I now have to replace the entire lower control arm over one small bolt? Please any help would be appreciated.

Re: problem replacing shocks
I've seen that happen before. One fix I like to do is drill and tap the stub coming off the control arm and put a bolt and washer in it. 3/8 X 16 bolt works pretty good.
