Re: What to use to clean plastic in car?

after you sand it and prep it spray it then let it dry then spray a clear coat on it,after that completley drys take a rag and some baby oil or tire cleaner and wipe over it,this will make it slick and not sticky, during the hot days the paint will get hot and sticky and if u rub something aross it ,it will scratch but if u put tire cleaner on it ,it will be slick as glass..

Re: What to use to clean plastic in car?

Lacquer thinner works the best... gets everything clean and it evaporates so you dont have to dry it, but make sure you sand it pretty well with 1500-2000 grit sand paper, just enough so the paint sticks but doesnt leave grooves!
