Good afternoon, I have a 2002 Lancer OZ. I am seeing offered a "chip" to increase HP. All it is, is a resister that you put on the air control sensor. You can by it at Radio Shack for about .32 cents. I was wondering if anyone knew the rating?

I too have an '02 Lancer OZ and I got a chip to up the horsepower about 20-22 or so. I took it to the dealer and showed it to the guy who sold me the car (he told me to get the chip in the first place w/out the dealership knowing) and we drove it by his diagnostics guy who verified that the chip does indeed add that 20hp. I don't know about the radio shack stuff but the one I got Is called "zero gravity" performance chip.... don't know if that helps what you wanted to know, but just thought I'd mention it.
