Any Suggestions Ideas here? my next project

Well, now that I'm FINALLY done with me s/c 92 e36 318i, I want to get started on another project, I'm thinking about taking the 2.3l 4cyl from the e30 m3 and plopping in in a e36 318i, I've already found a nice candidate for the engine, but I was wondering if anyone knew how much one of those 2.3liters can be found and how much, I can't seem to find one that isn't IN a car lol, also if anyone already knows for a fact that this would be near impossible to accomplish
