Would a GSR tranny be a good choice for the LS or are the gears too long?

If you're getting a good deal on a gsr tranny then yeah go for it. LS trannies have longer gears than a gsr tranny

for under 400whp, the GSR tranny is probably the better of the choices due to the short gearing....

Thanks for the quick responses guys .....
A buddy of mine is selling his GSR tranny so I guess either I could use it on a B18B OR a B16A depending on which engine I go with ... Wouldn't hurt having a GSR tranny laying around I suppose ....

gsr is a great tranny for n\a and turbo up to a point on the ls block. once you get in the higher psi ranges though a ls tranny may be more effective
