Compatibility?
I have an 1986 Chevy S-10 Blazer 2.8 L Im replacing the motor soon and have located a 1987 motor. Is the 87 compatible and is there anything I should be looking for that maybe differant? Thanks.

yes they are compatible, i have and 87 s10 2.8 and the motor blew in it and we put the motor out of an 86 in it and it runs like a champ. but we took my intake and tbi off hte 87 and put it on the 86 cuz it was carb. but yeah as far as fittin they are the same, put a new oil pump and gaskets and stuff in it while u got it out
