aftermarket exhaust volumes

Ive been trying to pick out an aftermarket cat-back system but I dont want it to be super loud - can you all give me some idea on the increase in volume over the stock for the various systems you have installed on your GPs?

Thanks - I have a stock (not for long) 02 GT

Borla and the GMPP systems are the quietest aftermarket systems, however they are a good bit louder than stock, especially inside the cabin. Most of the other systems you will find available like the Loud Mouth, old Rat system, MSP exhaust, are all alot louder overall from what I hear.

I went with the Dynomax. Outside is is not that loud (won't wake the neighbors like those F***in Civics) And the inside is not that bad. It has an enjoyable cabin sound. Also, it is really deep, rather than loud. It is loudest and deepest at about 2000 rpm. I like it. The Corsa one (pfyc.com) is silent inside, but '$pensive.

hope it helps!
