corvette, old to new

sorry for such a large picture, but i did this for a contest on photoshopchop.com, it is really my first chop on p.s. since i only got this 2 nights ago, but other wise it took me close to 20 hours on the chop it self, i used original pictures from a 1953 corvette, my uncle e-mailed me the pictures of his car, the only thing that is not found on a vette is the pointers on the hood and the wheels, but other wise here is what i did.

new wheels
new paint
chrome side and front moldings
chrome grill with brushed metal insirts(sp?)
new background(made by me simulating a circuit board)
water ground with reflections
and hood pointers from a 1957 chevy nomad

original

chop

all C&C is welcome, again this is my first chop on p.s. all others were done with serif photoplus 5.5.

Re: corvette, old to new

All i see is some subtle cues from a 53 Vette. But the original is a Chevy Nomad Concept, not a Vette.

Re: corvette, old to new

Looks like the front grill is a bit off. But i'll say it is alright for your first chop.

Very good for your first try.. But yea the reflections look way off.
Being a curios animal I fould a matchbox and a mirrior and took a pic.

A picture is worth a thousand words they say and whoever said that might be right. Hope this helps others too.

Not THAT bad, but the black is fake looking, and you really need to work on the selections more carefully... Also, pretty much every add-on is blurry. LOL.
