That's 90hp! "Select few cars"? What's the criteria, they need to have four wheels? Don't mean to flame but know your own car and others before you ask silly questions. 90hp, vs, 240hp... That's a 150hp gap.

No, your car won't even be able to touch an S2000 without a lot of work. Stock for stock my pig of an Eagle Vision TSi will take your car.

Dudes that is for the N/A model. This guy has the turbocharged model. I believe your car has 130+ horsepower. You need mods just to keep up. You are looking to challenge a car that has 180+ rwhp. Get a catback exhaust, larger turbo, and an intercooler. Till then hope that the driver really sucks.

If he does have the turbo model then his car should run nearly 15 seconds flat. Still not fast enough to beat an S2000, unless they are afraid to rev it high.. which I doubt will be the case.

The "Handling by Lotus" sticker won't help you in a drag race. Congrats on owning a rare turbo model. AS for S2000s, any stock '01 Trans Am can beat 'em no problem... they're not the world's fastest car.

nope some poeple really just don't know, he said most cars on the street he can beat. i say let him race carrrrnut, he'll teach him a lesson i think he needs a car that doesn't look fast to drop his drivers side door on the pavement

By the way, the Impulse turbo doesn't run almost a 15 flat. It runs more like a 16.5. That's gonna need quite a bit more boost to drop off the extra 2 seconds needed to take the S2K.
