guy gets hand blown off

i was watching a video today of some guy on a bike getting ready to go and he's revving his engine and as the light turns you hear a boom and the guys hand gets blown off and he drops his bike and grabs his wrist, i think someone said his piston blew or something.....if youve seen this video pls post for evryone else because i dont know where my friend got it, and how often does this happen? I was kinda hoping to get a bike sometime in the future but this really scared me....i never knew something like this woudl be possible

Re: guy gets hand blown off

That would be scary.
This is no crap: I know this guy that used to drag race an old (but fast) Kawasaki Z-1. Something happend at mid track and blew part of a camshaft out the top of the engine. Some drunk dude staggered up to him and handed him the missing piece that hit him in the chest. He opened his shirt and showed him the bloody bruise. He buttoned up his shirt and staggered off.

Thesedays, that would have been a huge lawsuit.

Re: guy gets hand blown off

Saw the video. No his hand did not get blown off. It was not the piston that hit him either. The piston blew through the case and caused the airbox to smack him in the hand. It definately hurt but it did not take his hand off.
