'02 Jetta: EPC Light
Recently the EPC light came on and went off after about 5-10 min. of driving. This happened one other time. I am taking it to the dealer next week. My warranty has expired and before they tell me it is a $2000 repair, has anyone else experienced this and what was the cause? I am thinking it could be the mass airflow censor or O2 censor, but I am just stabbing in the dark.

there were recalls on both of those things you mentioned. have you had them replaced? i am not sure on the years that the recalls aplly to, but i know it was the earlier mk4 1.8T's...good luck.
