Best Drag Racing Experience

What was the best drag racing experience you ever had or witnessed.

For me as far as racing, my first time racing at a track I took my modified VR4 to LACR, I happend to line up against a Civic, except this Civic was towed in and was turbo and stripped, WTF my first time and I'm against this. Anyways I calmed my nerves and got my best ever 60FT of 1.8 (never got a 1.8 again at LACR), and had the Civic the first 1/3 of the race. But then he passed me and ran a 12.5 to my 13.6, which closer to sea level would have been 12.1 to 13.2. That happend to be one of my faster times there too.

My best witnessed race was this turbo Suzuki Esteem, dude probably made 7 passes and 6 of the passes missed a shift and bogged and only ran a best time of 9.1 (at Iriwindale 1/8 mile). Was pretty sad to to see especially since he kept racing against old school muscle cars running 7s and 6s so his losses looked worst. Then on his last race he got a good launch and didn't miss a shift, 6.8 seconds later everybody was quiet and shocked.
