Talking Project "Silent night" Supra progress

well i started it today and i was thinking of ideas at like 6 this morn.i started to build after bout 30 min and i started test fitting parts and faburcating stuff.i made a sub box out of some old plastic parts and i made intercooler pipes out of old roll cage stuff and last i made a 4 or 5 point cage. heres the pic i know its crappy but bare with me.

ill get more pics of the stuff in the car later im still working on making the roll cage fit right. and thoughts about what else i could do are welcome.

Re: Project "Silent night" Supra progress

i made the exhaust and painted the seats and the rims are in the pic to.i made the whole rear half of the exhaust with a lighter and pilers.heres the pic

the reason i painted the middle white is for the BRIDE decals,so they will show up a little better.

Re: Project "Silent night" Supra progress

finish the intoiror today and here it is.

that sub box was made from the datsun pickup bed cover and the two amps are from the f&f supra.i also made a new exhaust because i broke the other one, here it is.

the tip/muffler/whatever you call it,is from the f&f supra.the exhaust from the cat back i made with a peice of a parts tree and a lighter which i regret doing now lol.the reason why all of the little s bends are there is so they could clear serten parts of the suspension and still be tucked up under the body for a clean look.the part of the roll bar thats going over the seats is going to be painted it was there for mock up and the pic (i made the roll bar too with the same meothed as the exhaust )

Re: Project "Silent night" Supra progress

no no simply cause i dont have anything to make a big ass turbo out of so it will be stock twin set up until i get stuff then ill make one.i did make custom intercooler pipes dunno if they fit right yet.last night i had problems with the wheel fit ment and had to cut and sand down the little like mounting thingys on each side for the front and only the back side for the back.i built the motor and its ready to go in for mock up with the raditor and intercooler pipes to see if they fit ill get pics tonight cause ill be painting all day.
*EDIT* maybe ill find a way to make a big ass turbo im gonna go think and play around with stuff

Re: Project "Silent night" Supra progress

i could find a way that looked right to make a single turbo so im gonna keep the twin until i think of somthing.i will not have pics of the body tonight....or wait maybe i will i dunno its gonna be cuttin it close i had to redo the wheels and tires cause they had to much negitive camber in them so i fixed that looks better now its drying.ill try to get pics of everything ive done so far later tonight.
