More Cruise/Brake light problems

99 X Cab LS Z71. Cruise and brake lights went out simultaneously. Checked dash fuses and main box - nothing tripped from what I can tell. Replaced brake switch at pedal and still nothing. Thoughts/suggestions? Previous posters solved their problem?
