Drift Machine A31 Cefiro

I have just started an Aoshima Drift Machine Cefiro and so far I am quite happy with the kit. The only thing that really lets it down are the aero parts and the wheels. The aero front bar that is included is designed to fit over the stock bar which looks terrible as you can imagine. I fixed this problem by cutting off the standard front bar and fitting the aero bar straight on. I then filled all the holes with Tamiya basic putty and sanded it smooth. The side skirts and rear bar extensions are designed to fit over the stock parts aswell but don't look half as bad as the front bar did so I fitted them as per the instructions. In my opinion though the aero parts are far too subtle for a drift car. Apart from those small things the kit is quite detailed and pretty nice looking. The brakes are nice as they are very detailed and even have a small Brembo logo on them. The Bride seat and Nardi steering wheel are also a nice addition. While I was working on the front bar I decided to make the Cefiro a bit different by removing the rear door handles and front door locks. I got this idea from the Garage Interceptor Drift Cefiro. I also plan to fit different wheels front and rear to give the car that awesome drift pig look. I am not sure what colour I will do it in yet but I am leaning towards a nice white or metallic red. Please let me know what you think guys. I will post some more pics tomorrow as I don't have my camera on me at the moment.

Re: Drift Machine A31 Cefiro

Is your model from the high power unit series (comes with engine)?

Re: Drift Machine A31 Cefiro

Nah its not the high power unit version. I had that one on backorder for months and eventually gave up on it. I got the Drift Machine Cefiro from www.1999.co.jp

Here is the direct link http://www.1999.co.jp/asp/GoodsDetai...ce_right_e.asp

The box on this one is different to mine but apart from that it looks the same.

I will have some more pics up soon guys.
