First win!!
Well, today, i became a real racer i guess, LOL. I won my first race, let me tell you, it was a clincher. It was even off the hole, then almost at the end of the quarter, i jumped ahead almost a half a car length and triumphed into the history books. Yes my friends, all the newly done mods (intake, exhaust, haha) and i finally got what i'd waited for. I don't know if it was the wind in my hair from my window that only rolls down halfway, or the a/c that's lost it's coolant capabilities, but something ran through my veins, and my friends, it was victory. You may be wondering, what did he beat, was it super fast? Was it turbocharged? Was it the race he had been waiting for his whole two weeks he's owned his car? It was none of those actually. Turns out it was a 96 hyndai accent gs, all stock. And my newly modded 93 honda civic dx hatchback baby gave it a run for his money, all 1500 dollars. Haha, just thought i'd bring some humor to this room. Thanks for the suggestions from everyone in the honda rooms!!!

Nice kill. Although racing cars that are pretty slow, isnt very fun...it is still a win. Any plans for your ride?

92-95 civics are pretty light. I used to have a 94 Civic DX stock, sucked to have no tachometer, no power windows, no power locks. I beat my friend's 1997 VW Jetta Trek just catching a few red lights. Let me tell you, those things are weak, even for a 2.0L.
2.0L I4 SOHC 8V FI Engine only produces 115 hp! Mine was a manual and his was auto and I still beat him by more than 2 cars. We were racing because we lined up at maybe 4 red lights and took off. I think what makes it weak is because hondas have twice as many valves, so we can dump more fuel into our 1.5L SOHC non-vtec.

I know, haha, honda's are the shizzz. Who know's, i might take on a GEO tracker next?? Stay tuned for the next exciting episode of, well......really slow cars. lol
