BOV dump tube mod....?

OK... I was looking at VFAQ.com and came across this MOD...

I did the mod without hacking original tube... just cause i'm smart.... and I don't know if it's the original tube or the BOV that would give me the really cool "chirp" when I let off gas.... now with mod done I have little more kick and the whoooosh is still there but I cannot get/hear the "chirp" anymore. Could this be because the BOV is a shitty 2gen BOV or does the original dump tube do it or what???????
I checked the BOV and it is clean and unobstructed... and all connections are tight.... I'm anal bout that sort of stuff....

It's because the tube makes it sound different, now you have a whoosh.

wow... I thought the BOV "chirped" and thats where aftermarket ones have the decibal rating to them... what did I miss?
I don't wanna let the cricket go......... I wanna love it and hold it and I will name it george....

no, the BOV whooshes, but some ricer BOV's have different sound making techniques.

yea i chopped my dump tube off when i got my car...i was wondering about that to...the chirp was cute but the woosh is better (till i get an aftermarket bov)
