Re: Anyone installed pullys?
I've heard a lot of bad things about lightened pulleys. Like they make your motor spin faster or something and its bad I forget exactly.

what exactly are you putting in, an underdrive pulley or a true pulley set? And there's nothing wrong with lighter pulleys, I just bought one myself.

Re: Anyone installed pullys?
do not replace you underdrive pulley! it will destroy you engine. But for a regular pulley set the pros are added hp but the downside is dimmed headlights from what i hear. do a search this has been discussed in past threads

Re: Anyone installed pullys?
AEM's are good. My friend had a set on his Accord. It didn't make an enormous amount of power but it surely made a couple.
This may help installation This too Last edited by loesch8102; 05-16-2004 at 08:27 PM. |

It's perfectly fine to replace your underdrive pulley. I just recently bought an oem one from an ITR that has no PS or AC, much lighter.
