Cavalier Won't shut off!

Hi my girlfriend has an 04 cavy sedan and today she came home from about an 4 hour trip and she said when she shut her key off and took it out of the ignition it was still running . when she got to my house ther car shut off normal. nothing seemes to be out of place. anyone got any idea?

I have a 400watt amp,212s an aftermarket stereo, and a voltmeter in the car if this helps all installed professionally(by me).

I have the same car and have had the same thing happen. Its not that the car didnt shut off it just doesnt sound like it shut off. For some reason in the 04' (dont know if any other years cavs do it) after a long period of driving or if you are pushing the engine hard the fan wont shut off imedietly after turning the car off.

Tell her its ok the car is not on.

Hi i am a gm spo (service parts operations) employee. I would call you dealer and trake it in. because i think that they have released a service bulliten about that problem about a month ago or so. and i tell you i pick that part all day long. i think that th part #ends in 32. but either way that is a problem and needs to be taken care of NOW!
