Changing Front Headlight
I realize this may sound like the stupidest question ever, but I'm running into a little issue changing my indicator light on the front passenger side. The manual wants you to stick a screwdriver down a hole behind the light and "unhook" the hook that is holding it in and then pull the light out.
I was working on it today and all I see is a lever that appears to be on its side. With the screwdriver in, I can either push this lever left or right, but it just seems to move the light fixture a tiny bit. Am I supposed to be pulling on the light while I move the lever? Should I use a second screwdriver to pry the fixture out? I don't want to force the lever or light fixture too much, because I may break them, but I can't seem to get the $$@##! fixture out. Any suggestions? |

Re: Changing Front Headlight
You push straight down on the locking tab while pulling on the light assembly. Get a new bulb and socket that it goes into. the hole is actually in the top of the fender. where the hood covers it.

Thanks. I'll give that a shot tonight.

So do I push down on the white color (thin bladed looking like). Do I have to push quite hard?? I am just worried about breaking that device and I will then have to spend more getting that entire light assembly fix!!! Quite frustrating that I can't even replace the bulb. |
